Elizabeth Charlie Colburn is a printmaker currently completing a BFA with a concentration in Printmaking. Her work explores diverse themes, often critiquing societal views on women through a blend of political insight and personal narrative. Inspired by artists like Barbara Kruger, the Guerrilla Girls, and Brian Ewing, she incorporates bold compositions, strong messaging, and a rebellious edge into her prints.
With interests that extend to video games and film, Elizabeth brings a dynamic, narrative-driven approach to her practice, w include various print techniques, ranging from serigraphy to lithography. She envisions her future in a collaborative printshop environment while building her portfolio and preparing to pursue an MFA to teach Printmaking.
