CHARLIE’S PORTFOLIO

Who the HELL is CHARLIE?

Charlie is a printmaker, artist, and all-around creative troublemaker. Fueled by bold compositions and sharp critiques, her work takes inspiration from Barbara Kruger, the Guerrilla Girls, and Brian Ewing. When she’s not covered in ink, she’s diving into video games or film, always looking for the next spark of inspiration. With big plans to work to teach and pursue an MFA, she’s just getting started—so stay tuned!

Fuck the PARTICRACY

I’m currently exploring the objectification and power dynamics of women through various printmaking techniques. Influenced by Barbara Kruger, Guerrilla Girls, and Brian Ewing. My recent project reclaims the visual language of advertising and activism to challenge passive consumption of the human form. By layering striking text and imagery, it confronts the viewer, demanding awareness and agency in the act of looking.

Silent Bodies, Loud Gazes reclaims the visual language of activism, demanding a more critical engagement with the act of seeing.
